Well… here goes nothing.
My life is about to go through about 400 changes at once, yet the majority of those changes are for the better. (Who would have guessed it? Especially with my track-record.)
I’m starting to get settled into my new job as an editor.
I’m 10 days away from moving in with my fiance into an incredible duplex we found for a steal. (I personally think that it will be a great place for our life together to start.)
I’m getting married in a little over two months.
Even though I’ve graduated, my mind is still swirling with ideas that I must write. (After I’ve packed and unpacked quite a few boxes I’ll finally feel as though I have a place where I can write.)
2007, thus far, has been ‘the year of change.’ As I hinted towards earlier, the majority of those changes have been for the best (graduation, new job, new place to live, marriage) but I have found that recently I have missed quite a few people who have had active roles within my life in the recent past.
I am starting to (unfortunately) realize that it is crucial for the advancement of one’s life to let some of those people weave themselves back into the fabric of one’s past; yet, others are the strands that you must hold onto no matter how fine or difficult it is to keep a grasp on those threads.
But, I must say that with all the changes that are occurring in my life this year, with each one Wilford Brimley echoes in my head, “It’s the right thing to do.” And because of that, for the first time in my life I am happy, content and at peace with where I am. (Yes, they do function as three separate emotions.)

Well then Tim, perhaps we should tie those ropes around are wrists and hold on tight. Life is bumpy to say the least. I am glad that even though we don’t share the same geography we share the same friendship. I miss you man. Can’t wait to see you again in November. We just bought our tickets and look forward to tossing a couple back with you.
